Finance is available for homes and businesses, subject to approval. Here's how it works for each.
Tell us about your property or business and what you're planning, and we'll talk through your options.

Homes: the NSW Home Energy Saver loan
Eligible NSW homeowners can use the NSW Government's Home Energy Saver loan to help pay for approved upgrades such as rooftop solar and a home battery. It's a zero-interest loan of up to $15,000, repayable over up to 10 years. It's a loan, not a rebate, so it has to be repaid.
The loan is arranged through an approved finance provider, and eligibility rules and approval apply. Tell us about your home and we'll talk through whether it could suit you.
For the full rules, see the official program details on the NSW Government website.
Who can apply, in summary
- The home is in NSW
- You own the property, as an owner-occupier or a landlord
- Combined taxable household income of up to $210,000
- You're an Australian citizen or permanent resident
- The property isn't social or community housing, or used for short-stay rental
- The upgrade meets the program's technology requirements
Businesses: commercial finance
Finance for businesses is available, subject to approval. It can help spread the cost of a commercial solar or battery system, and we'll work to arrange the best rates available for your business.
Rates, fees and terms depend on the finance provider and your business, so they're confirmed as part of an application rather than listed on this website.
What can affect a finance application
- The cost and size of the system
- How long your business has been operating
- Your business's finances and credit history
- The term and repayment structure you choose
- Whether a deposit or security is asked for
- The finance provider's own requirements
